Nail Plate
The hard, visible part of the nail made of keratin that rests on the nail bed.
The nail plate is the hard surface we paint and enhance. It's made of layers of keratin and has no nerves or blood supply, which is why filing the surface doesn't hurt. Proper dehydration and priming of the nail plate is key to enhancement adhesion.
